The annual consortium meeting was held in Paris on the 6th of October 2020. Initialy planned in Germany, on the production site of MIAL, the meeting had to be redirected to a more central and easier to access location (i.e Paris) due to the COVID situation. This meeting was a great opportunity to meet the new arrivals in the SPIRALG team.
- Dr Ahmed MOHAMMED new contact point regarding actions within MIAL. Ahmed took over the postion of Dr T. Fahrendorf and is now in charge of WP 4 and partially WP3 with Algaia.
- Dr Yves BRUNEL, new director of Greensea. Yves took over the position of Dr Jean Paul Cadoret and is now in charge of WP2.
A new coordinator was appointed. Dr Franck HENNEQUART, scientific director of ALGAIA, along with Maud BENOIT and Benoit QUEGUINEUR, will take the lead of SPIRALG in replacement of Greensea. This decision was made in August 2020 and the GA amedment was launched to that effect.
